FAQ

What is MarkStock?

Festival? Socialising event? Piss-up with food? You decide.

Aswell as the bbq, snacks, music and drinks there are ‘permitted activities’ (see: MarkStock Charter) including football, cards, frisbee, swingball, bonfires and shooting

When is MarkStock held

Usually once every year during the summer. This year it’s Saturday 12th June, Marple from 5pm.

What do I need?

Bring your own booze, sleeping bag/pillow/roll mat. Tent is optional as there is always room in the main tent.

Also bring a few of your own CD compilations for everyone’s enjoyment. (Big Pete is bringing a Bryan Adams CD)

Any money left over from the Big Pete Levy is invested in High-Risk European Growth Investment Funds…or booze

Who is attending?

Refer to the Guest List. Very rigorous selection process (ahem) to get onto the list.

What’s with the rules?

Big Pete has taken it upon himself to write out rules for MarkStock, levy a tax, supervise tent construction, make a welcoming speech and generally hype up the whole thing beyond justification. All we know so far from the man is that this year’s Big Pete Levy is set at 3 quid.

I missed MarkStock!

Fear not, we hope to video/photo key moments (including Big Pete’s welcoming speech) and post them on this site for everyone to enjoy!
